This company charged me $2942.00 to replace a 50 gallon electric water heater that I could buy at Lowes for $544. It was an easy installation in my garage, that took a little over 2 hours to complete.

I requested an itemized invoice breaking down the cost for materials and cost for labor. I requested this twice by email and twice by phone, but they refused to give it to me.

I feel that they took advantage of the urgency of the situation, and the fact that I have a home warranty, to price gouge me.

Make sure you get a 2nd estimate before you commit to this company.
