Service person was polite and on time.
I suspect he was following the expectations of his company. No clear answer to A/C problem, just that I needed to spend more money to do a search for leak in A/C line, Freon, etc., then a suggestion that I just buy a whole new system for $10,000.00.
I called another company to come out. He immediately found the leak (under the condo building…did the first guy look there?), quoted me a reasonable cost for repair, and said their office would contact me on Monday to schedule the repair. He advised me on a couple of maintenance things that would probably extend the life of my current system. What a difference!
